Which minor characters in the series do you want to know more about?

Andromeda Tonks. I always hoped we'd find out more about her. She's really interesting to me, as a Black, a sister of Bellatrix and a good Slytherin. She's somewhat of a prove that not all Slytherins are evil and all that - but we know so little about her! I really hope Jo will provide us with some information on Pottermore.

Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil, Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas - yes, I want to know more about Harry's classmates. What happened to them after the Battle? Did they survive? (we know that Harry saw many bodies lying on the floor in the Great Hall, but when he saw Fred, Lupin and Tonks, he didn't want to look any more - in fear that more people he knew died...) I also am kind of interested in their families, their blood status (we don't know Lavender's and Parvati's blood status), and all of that.

Oliver Wood - I always liked him. Don't know why... I just did. And I want to know much more about him.. we know nothing, except he's a Quidditch fanatic, and that he was later a professional player for Puddlemore United.

Regulus Black - he always interested me. Very much.

And many other characters.. I'm not in mood for counting all of them right now. (:

I would like to know more about the rift between Gryffindor and Slytherin. they were so close as friends, then they separated. Did they have a duel or did Slytherin just decide to leave, did he say good-bye to anyone?

I'd like to know more about Regulus Black. Another would be Eileen Prince - what made her marry a Muggle? And was she another half blood in Slytherin or was she Pureblood? I'd love to know more about her. Wandlore - I'd love to know more about that.

It seems that dueling among the founders (most likely centered around Slytherin) was prominent. According to the Sorting Hat in OotP:

OotP, Ch. 11, The Sorting Hat's New Song The Houses that, like pillars four had once held up our school now turned upon each other and divided, sought to rule. And for a while it seemed the school must meet an early end. what with dueling and with fighting and the clash of friend on friend. And at last there came a morning when old Slytherin departed and though the fighting then died out he left us quite downhearted.

But, I agree, it would be fascinating to learn about the relationships among the founders, especially the friendship between Gryffindor and Slytherin. Clearly the two had a base disagreement on wizards' heritage, but I wonder about their history together and their similarities as friends.

Rita Skeeter! I want to know all about her past, and about any events that would have influenced her need to know absolutely EVERYTHING. And I also wouldn't mind the chance to interrogate her like she heartlessly interrogated others.

I would love to know more about the Black family, particularly Sirius's parents and Regulus. I get the impression from her portrait that Walburga Black could be a very domineering woman and was more than a bit mad, so I would be really interested to know more about the relationship she had with her husband - was he as pro-pure blood as she was? Did he ever even attempt to stick up for Sirius?

I also agree that it would be interesting to find out more about Andromeda, especially the circumstances surrounding her leaving home and marrying Ted Tonks.

Kingsley Shacklebolt (because - really - what do we know about him other than he was an Auror and one of the main Order members?)

I wanna know what happened to Harry's ENTIRE family not just his parents, in the mirror of Erised he sees a man with knobbly knees who is that man, what happened to him, why is he dead??
I also wanna know more about the Weasley family, their connection with the Peverells, the Potter's connection with the Peverells, does this mean the families are connected distantly?
Ohhh I just realised this isn't about minor characters so sorry but that really interests me, the main characters ancestors! hahahahahaaa
I also wanna know more about Dobby and his history!
I would also be interested in what happened to the 'disowned' Blacks and what happened to Riddle on his journeys around Albania e.t.c.....OMGosh more big characters, sorry guys! haha

Luna seems like a kind and intersting person to hang out with.
Seamus because I think he's fun to hang out with. I remember the part where he blamed Harry for maybe not comming back to Hogwarts because what they wrote in the paper.
He did apologise later wich makes me think he is an honest man.

To be honest there aren't many minor characters I really want to know more about. I think Rowling did a perfect job giving us just the right amount of information for every character - minor or major.

One character I saw mentioned here who I actually would like to learn more about though is McGonagall. Her past, her family - but I also wouldn't consider her to be a minor character.

I would like to know more about the other students like Dean, Seamus, Hannah Abbot, Lavender, Parvati Patil and etc. It's true the books just mention a little bit about them but it would be cool if there would be more information about them.

I would like to know more about the Creevy twins. I know they were both kind of annoying in the series, but there has to be some sort of background story about where they come from and such. Clearly they were fascinated when they found out they were wizards, and even more fascinated with Harry himself (who wasn't!) but they also sacrificed their lives for him in the end, and we never even got to learn much about them.

Yeah. (ironically I work for a Dairy and my boyfriend is a milkman, lol) I mean that is such an ordinary muggle way of life and that is why it is so intriguing. Like at what age did the parents realize their kids were different? All those little questions that we'll neverk now the answers to, but it sure is fun to speculate.

I would like to know more about McGonagall, she's my favourite professor. I think she has a very interesting past, and I'd like to know what her days in Hogwarts were like. Also, would Luna Lovegood be considered minor? She's also one of my favourites, and I'd love to know more about her.

Order members such as Tonks and Kingsley. They definately should have been included more and more information should have been revealed about them. They've always seemed interesting!
