This episode was pretty good overall. I agree that Santana's coming out was a bit to unrealistic, but I actually liked the angle they portrayed it as. I didn't like Santana's insults at all and was glad Finn gave it back to her like that. It was good to see.

I actually liked Mercedes in the episode. Yeah, she seemed a little diva-ish, but she put Santana in her place and told her to act nice. I liked that a lot coming from her.

Kurt should've done bullying in the first place. I agree that banning dodgeball was very random and a little out there. Kudos to Rachel for giving up her spot to Kurt. This one of the first times I haven't literally hated her.

The Puck/Shelby thing was handled well, and I'm glad Shelby told him it couldn't happen. I can understand his motive of wanting to be in Beth's life, but that's not the way to go about it. I know Shelby wants him to be involved, and I admire her for that.

I loved how Shelby stuck it to Quinn and how Puck revealed what Quinn was up to.

Overall, a pretty decent ep. I also loved the mash-ups as they were well done, and I also loved Shelby and Schue's take on the Gaga song.

I really liked this episode as well. The adele mashup was amazing! I think the trouble tones killed it! What happened to rory doing the solo for the new directions? Finn did a good job but i thought they had convinced rory to do it. Also love the mashup that shelby and shue did. Really well done.

My one complaint, why is it that every person in this show that wants to come out but cant lashes out in anger and taunts towards others? Not everyone has the same reactions to the fear surrounding coming out but it seems like as of late they just become big mean bullies in the show. I felt bad for Santana but she just got really excessively mean for no reason!

Puck was a bit of an idiot in this episode. Not only did he tell Shelby what Quinn did attempting to get the baby taken away from Shelby it pretty much seems like he is going to tell Quinn that Shelby kissed him next week. Does he not get what he is doing? I never thought he was that dumb before.

Santana deserved her comeuppance, but not in such a brutal manner.

And Sue being compassionate? Admitting she was wrong? At least they were all there to support Santana even though her pride wouldn't let her accept it.

Loved the Trouble Tones number. Shelby and Shue were wonderful, but then we knew they would be when they finally got together.

Too bad Rory didn't get a solo.

I think Puck isn't dumb for telling Shelby what Quinn did. He did the right thing there. As for confessing to Quinn, it's the right thing to do. He needs to come clean to her.

As for Santana being a bully, that's very in character for her and really shows that she's insecure about who she is.

But Puck isn't doing it because he thinks it is the right thing to do. He is doing it because he doesn't know any better. He doesn't seem to understand that Shelby would not allow Quinn to see the baby if she knew what Quinn did to try and make Shelby lose the baby and he does not seem to understand that Quinn will try to ruin Shelby if she finds out Puck and Shelby kissed.

Puck told Shelby what Quinn had done because he felt complicit in it himself - he was going along with Quinn, or at least didn't tell her that she was wrong - he was coming clean; it wasn't stupidity, nor was it really thought through to the point where he'd realize that Shelby would cut Quinn out of Beth's life.

Two questions about next week's preview:

Why is Puck spooning Quinn on a bed? Are they dating and I just missed it? I thought they were just conspiring to get Beth back.

Also, why in the world would Bieste's recruiter boyfriend be on a "date" with Sue? Even a fake date as I assume it is to counteract the slander ad that implied she was a lesbian for not being married. He clearly really liked Bieste for quite a while. Why would he do that without talking to her? She's clearly going to be extremely hurt.

I just felt so bad for Finn when he got slapped like that in front of all his classmates and teachers. I mean I really do feel horrible for Santana that she was outed the way she was but how am I supposed to feel sympathy for someone who is such a bully? She destroyed pianos, she verbally abuses nearly everyone in the group and her "apology" was painful to hear. I guess how you reacted to the episode will actually be reflective of which end of the "bullying spectrum" you were in back in high school but I genuinely can't find any sympathy for mean girls who think they can pretty do and say anything but refuse to be painted in the same light. That having been said I hope Santana and Finn become better as characters and hopefully this puts light how harmful bullying can actually be in real life.

^^Agreed. I mean, I do feel badly about the way she was forced to come out, but you can't say that she didn't have it coming. After all of the negativity and insults she siphoned off onto others, it was bound to come back to her eventually. I'm just glad that Finn finally stood up to her! Maybe now she'll think twice about what she says because she now knows what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a particularly painful insult.

As for Puck and Quinn lying together in the preview- I was wondering that myself. Either Quinn wants them to act as a couple to get Beth back or it's just another one of Glee's inconsistencies.

So I've been listening to the Christmas album, and I realized there were some voices that I didn't recognize on there. I looked it up and both Lindsey and Alex from the Glee Project sing a song on the album (the same one "Do You Hear What I Hear?"). It makes me wonder if Lindsey's character will be making another appearance, and I can't remember but does Alex also get an episode? Even though I hated both of them on The Glee Project, the song is really great. Damien also gets his own song ("Blue Christmas," which is great), and Samuel is featured with Cory and Mark in "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". I'm a sucker for Christmas music, so I think the album is great, although there are some not very famous Christmas songs on there too.

ETA: Oh, apparently there's also an original Christmas song on the album sung by Lea and Darren. It's interesting. Better than some of their other original songs, that's for sure.

If I remember correctly, both Lindsey and Alex get two episodes. Damian and Samuel get seven.

She played Harmony, the NYADA version of Rachel (but a lot better) in the season premiere.

I still prefer listening to last year's Christmas album because I think the songs are better, but this one is great too! I LOVE the original song "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" despite Lea's heavily autotuned voice. It's so cute! And as much as I never really liked Alex or Lindsay, "Little Drummer Boy" is absolutely beautiful. I do wish they had found a better duet for Kurt and Blaine to sing than "Let it Snow" though. It doesn't even compare to "Baby, It's Cold Outside" from last year. Damian's great on "Blue Christmas" as well.

I LOVE Christmas music and the season as well, so I cannot wait until Thanksgiving is over and I can have a socially acceptable reason for listening to this haha

I'm not getting that album as I'm not a fan of Christmas music anymore. I used to like it, but I don't now. I can't wait for Vol. 7 to come out so we can hear some more awesome music.

Seven episodes for Damian.

In the first, he was a leprechaun and/or Kermit the Frog. A lot of nice things for Damian, but no stretch for him vocally.

Second episode, he's supposed to get a solo but it doesn't happen. No reason given.

Third episode, the camera pans past him three times.

And now, neither Kurt nor Rachel will be going to NYADA.
