1. If you could spend a day with any Harry Potter character who would you choose and why?

Dobby, I would love to know so much more about house elves, their origins, culture, families, etc. I also think Dobby is a wonderfully sincere and thoughtful person and would be a delight to get to know. I'd also love a full demonstration of house elf magic and we could surely make a nice dinner together.

2. Which Deathly Hallow would you choose?

Cloak of Invisibility hands down. It just seems so much more useful than the others to me. I like to quietly observe things sometimes (in an uncreepy way of course). It's would be a wonderful safety tool as well as a way to explore unimpeded.

3. Which magical pet would you bring with you to Hogwarts?

An owl. I've had an infatuation with birds and particularly raptors since I was a young child. I've available, I'd like a Great Horned Owl, since those remind me of my childhood when I live near woods that they frequented.

4. What would be your favorite subject at Hogwarts?

Arithmancy I'd say. I've always had a penchant for math. To be clear, I was never much for calculations and figures. I am much more interested in the conceptual aspects of mathematics and logic. Arithmancy, as I imagine it combines these theoretical aspects of math and delves into explaining there connection to the outside magical world. I'm a big fan of applied sciences as well.

5. If you could ask J.K. Rowling to write one thing what would it be?

I would ask her how Horcruxes are made. I find them immensely interesting and unappealing at the same time. I know that she has a particular process in mind for the task and that it is supposedly rather disturbing. Really this question is about getting at the heart of what she believes evil to be in essence, something that I feel everyone needs to address in order to understand the world and what it means to be strive for goodness.

6. Would you play Quidditch? If so which position?

I would love to play Quidditch though would have no desire to make a profession of it. I'd try for keeper, as I have long gangly limbs and like scenarios where I have to be aware of lots of things at once but still get a chance to go into hyper-focused mode.

7. Which magical career would you choose?

I'd like to work in the Dept. of Mysteries since I favor research as a career in the real world and would like to delve into the depths of the unexplained and obscure. Alternatively I'd like to travel and gain insight into lesser know magical traditions and cultures. In the book, we never learn much about tribal magic and how it relates to Magical Europe.

8. What would your patronus be?

As I've mentioned, I like birds. I imagine my patronus as a Peregrine Falcon, because they're just awesome, in addition to fast, agile, and gorgeous.

9. Which magical place would you most like to visit?

I'd love to visit the Headmasters Office during Dumbledore's tenure. I'd love to check out all the little gadgets, give the Pensieve a whirl and chat with the Headmasters of yore. Plus Fawkes would be there.

Hmm...You definitely have the intelligence and curiosity to make it as a Ravenclaw, but I'm going to go Hufflepuff, due to your appreciation of Dobby's kindness and loyalty to your childhood fondness for birds. However, this is also my first time doing this, so I may be miles off. Good luck.
