Here is a fan fiction I am writing that that takes place during the Order of the Phoenix movie. I was thinking this morning about, "What would it be like if I was Lucius's daughter and was with Harry over in the hall of prophecy and I see him there. What would I do?" That kind of inspired this fanfict. I hope you enjoy.


Chapter 1
Emily walked through the Malfoy gardens. She enjoyed the peace and quiet that the plants seemed to bring. She needed the rest before going back to Hogwarts the next day, there was some rumor that the unnamed one had returned she couldn’t help but wonder if this was true. The ministry outright denied it. She found the bench and sat down; her father would come in soon with Draco to talk to her about packing for the next day. Diagon Alley was main priority that day so that she and her brother could buy the books that she needed. She leaned forward and twisted a long strand of her blond hair with her finger as she looked into a little fish pond. Her silver eye reflected against the water. She could see her father and brother out of the corner of her eye walking towards her. She sat back up normally and as elegant as her father would have liked her to sit and greeted them.
“Hi Father, Draco.” She acknowledged them both. Draco looked at her a little bit more impatient than normal.
“Draco and I talked to your mother. We will be heading to Diagon Alley now to get the supplies you two need for school.” Her father said as he helped her up to her feet. Lucius walked away to the carriage and left Draco to be with his sister. Emily found the opportune time to poke her older brother on the shoulder.
“So… what bad things will you be doing to Harry this year? “ Emily watched her brother. He looked a little nervous and started to head towards the carriage.
“I don’t have to tell you that… it’s not like you will join me anyways.. “ he sat down in the carriage with a sigh. Emily followed managing not to trip over the front step.
“You never tell me… I am your little sister and yet you never tell me anything other than orders that father has given you… aghh! I wish something exciting will happen this year..” Emily quieted down. Draco ignored his sister for a while, crossed his arms and leaned against the carriage walls. Emily mimicked her brother and the three got to Diagon Alley without any quarrels.
Lucius got out of the carriage first and helped Emily out. Believing that ladies should always be first, Emily stepped down on the cobblestone and glanced at all the shops. Without her father telling her where to go she headed straight over to Flourish and Blotts which was the bookstore. She anxiously looked through the books that were on clearance. None of them interested her, she didn’t altogether like reading which caused a problem at school. It helped her when she read the books outloud. She kept away from the library because of this issue, she believed libraries should be in complete silence. Once Draco came in she grabbed the textbooks she needed and waited in line to pay for the books. She watched as her father was glancing at a few of the muggle half breeds who passed by. As a rule, Malfoy’s always disdained Muggles because they weren’t pureblood. Emily inherited some of this disdain and usually avoided the muggles over at Hogwarts, including Harry’s friend Hermione.
She watched all the other students file in to buy their books as well. A few minutes later Draco came up from behind her and their father paid for everything. They practically had all they needed from Diagon Alley. Emily wanted to look at the petshop before they left though. Emily rushed over there with her books when Lucius whispered something in Draco’s ear. He nodded and followed Emily.
“Emily? Father has been summoned over to the ministry building. Supposedly Harry Potter has been caught using a patronus spell over in the muggle world infront of a muggle. I so hope he gets expelled.” He laughed.
“That means no more teasing. Are you sure you want to endure that?” She asked and smiled. Draco just scowled and watched her pick out an owl. Emily smiled at her owl as they pulled away with the books and the carriage. Their father was going to catch another carriage back to the other world.

Chapter 2

Emily sat quietly with Draco on the train to Hogwarts. She remembered her first year to the school, at first she was terrified but once she was sorted into Slytherin that fear slipped away from her and a sense of pride came through. At least she wasn’t with the mudbloods as her kind called them. She watched as some of the other students filed in to the train, Harry along with them. ‘So… he must have been excused then from the trick that he pulled. I shouldn’t tell Draco yet. This might end up bad.’ She thought. Emily fingered through some money of hers in her pocket. The lady with the candy cart was coming by and she was hungry for something. The lady stopped by to ask what they wanted, “yeah, I would like some of those twizzlers as well as two of those chocolates on that platter.” She ordered as she handed the woman the money for the candy. The lady handed her the candy and Emily turned to Draco, “here, take a chocolate. It might help your appetite before we get to Hogwarts. I was told that the other food on the train was tapped into by one of the weasely boys. Fred I believe…”
Draco glanced up at her and grabbed one of the chocolates; he stared at it and declared he wasn’t really hungry. He ate it anyway. Several minutes later he started to feel sick, his skin was covered over with warts and what used to be his hands turned into frog feet. He glared at his sister in rage for giving him the candy before he turned into a toad. Emily watched this in horror. “I’m going to tell father!” Draco screamed in his toad state.
“It’s not like it was my fault… You’re the one who ate it in the first place, I assure you it was probably Fred Weasely again…” She sighed and picked her brother up, “Once we arrive at Hogwarts I will bring you to the nurse who can fix you up.. Unless I find someone aboard who can help you. Its just a spell that might wear off anyway.”
“You’re not very reassuring…” Draco grumbled. Emily stood up and cradled Draco in her arms as she searched the train for a nurse. She found the nearest one over near a department where a bunch of Hufflepuff students sat chatting with one another how they loved their indoor plants. She went into the department where the nurse sat.
“Excuse me, I am Emily Malfoy as you know… My brother had one of the Weasely chocolates which were planted on the candy cart. Is there a way of curing him?”
“Oh what a wonderful looking species of frog, I haven’t seen this kind in years.” The nurse looked down at Draco pushing her spectacles back. She apparently was hard of hearing and didn’t hear what Emily had to say. Draco screamed at the nurse which caught her off guard. “Oh dear me, I beg your pardon! No need to shout at me. It’s not my fault you turned yourself into a toad.” She still thought one of his spells misfired. “How did you get yourself to be a toad?”
Emily repeated herself, “I believe a potion was slipped into his chocolate.” She said a little louder. The nurse nodded in agreement,
“Well, it will wear off soon. I can give you this that might be able to quicken the time for you.” She took out a little bottle of a potion she had obviously not opened before. She slipped some in Draco’s mouth and forced him to swallow. He croaked and she sent the two off. Emily and Draco could hear Ron’s brothers laugh at them as they passed by the apartment.
Emily set him down on his seat and turned away from him, she could hear him blame her for giving it to him. She responded back, “You took it from me, you ate it… end of story.” Several minutes later she turned back to see her brother in human form again writing a letter to their father.
