Extremely sexy *for his age*, hmm? LOL. In my experience, which is very little granted, they just get sexier as they get older. Until they hit 60 or so; it appears to be all downhill from there, with a few exceptions.

Johnny Depp is a very handsome man, and a very talented actor. And, no, I don't mean "talented" as in 'Oh, baby, take off that shirt!'. I really do think he's a great actor, I swear!

I'm guessing that all the people who have put "he looks good for his age" are themselves under the age of 20? I would kindly request that you please stop saying that because it's making me feel very old (and I'm only 30). I've been in love with Johnny Depp longer than johnnydeppfan has even been alive. I first saw him in Nightmare on Elm Street and it was love at first sight. And he truly is a gifted actor. He's done such diverse roles and done wonderful in each of them. Did anyone else here ever watch the tv show he was in? It was called 21 Jumpstreet. He was really good on there too.

Dude, this is the thread for me. I <3 Johnny Depp!

To answer the above question, I think he was born in Kentucky, but raised in Florida. He's American, so any accent he has in movies (English, Irish, Pirate) is fake.

I definitely respect Johnny Depp as an actor. He always takes different roles, and doesn't get stuck in a, say, romantic-comedy rut. I loved him in Sleepy Hollow and Chocolat, and obviously Pirates of the Caribbean, and I have yet to see Edward Scissorhands, which I've heard is good. Has anyone seen that movie?

And...uh...let's just say that he isn't unfortunate looking!

I liked Depp in Edwart Scisorhands, Sleepy Hollow and a bit in From Hell. I want to see The Man Who Cried, as there are also Cate Blanchett, John Turturro and Christin Ricci in it.

A thrustworthy source tells me Pirate isn't worth watching, though, so I won't see it.

Pirates is definitly worth watching, its just a really fun movie! lol But I guess that is my opnion. I just watched The Man Who Cried today and it was good but just not my favorite movie.

OMG! I love Johnny Depp, but I love Orlando BLoom more. I think the 2 of them truely made Pirates of the Caribbean a GREAT movie. I admire Johhny (and Orlando) for his superior acting skills!!

It's based on the ride. It's about pirates.

From Hell is weird. A Pirate, a giant and a hobbit all together. I watched a little and was a little grossed out and I found it funny. My mom found out I was watching it(It was around 11pm) and made me turn it off because it's so gross.

Johnny Depp is so gorgeous. And an excellent actor. You don't get that much, do you?

I've loved him in all his movies, that I've seen. Edward Scissorshands is defintely his best in my opinion, and Pirates is really good. Jack Sparrow's personality and swagger came from a combo of Keith Richards and Pepe LePew. Only Johnny Depp could tihnk of that.

And the eyeliner... *swoons*

I can't say I was really a fan of Johnny Depp untill POtC. I really enjoyed Chocolat but I didn't really notice Johnny. Pirates turned me into a fan of his work. He was AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was just so funny and played Captin Jack Sperow perfectly. I love him!

I absolutly LOVE Johnny Depp! He is so amazing! I luve everything about him, his hair, his eyes, his talent, I could go on! JCap. Jack Sparrow was totally kewl! I cant wait for his next movie!!! I wish I could marry him, lol.
