Good Day Everyone,

I'm sorry to say that CoS Forums is going to shut down in the Summer, sometime around July. This isn't an early April Fools joke either.

The Forums have become quite expensive to run and manage. There's a lot (LOT) less traffic coming to the site these days as Harry Potter becomes less of a topical debate for people.

I held on for a while after the last film, wondering whether JK would announce anything surprising, but I find that even if she did it wouldn't serve to help the diminishing numbers on the site or my bank balance!

Myself, I've been absent a lot more in the past year as personal issues have taken over and I've had to work longer hours, to earn more money to keep the forums going as well as pay for things like rent, utilities and god knows what else.

Some of you will be sad and I'm sure others will be happy. I'm not doing this lightly and I could have closed the site last year but held off. I know this may upset some of you who've come to see this place as a haven with friends and I'm very sorry it has to go but I've kept this place going with money out of my own pocket for 10 years now and it's no longer financially viable to do so. Please understand that this is not an easy decision!

Some of you may wish to offer to help, to donate or even take on the site. Whilst I would listen to any suggestions, I will not accept donations as this would be unsustainable in the long-term. If you wanted to take on CoS, be aware that you would need to find $200 per month and to be honest with you all I'm not sure I'm prepared to let the site be taken over by anyone. I've created a thread for comments. The other staff know only as much as the above. There is no Plan B as far as they are concerned, so do not pester them for answers to questions. If they do not know, they are being totally honest.

Many thanks to everyone who for the last 10+ years have worked in one way or another on the site. All the staff, past and present who gave their time and energy to making the community work. Every single person gave their time for free and were never paid for their efforts. It was a labor of love for all.
Many thanks to the members, those who came & went and dared to stay. Every single one of you who contributed to the site, to the discussions and events. You were the ones who made the site what it became, from the all the book releases to the heated, sometimes famous debates about all sorts of topics. You made CoS what it was. So thank you.

I was reading Watch With Kristin a few weeks ago, I'm not sure if anyone thought of this or brought it up but here's a theory that was posed:

What if the rapist is a girl? When the question was posed to Kristen Bell, she paused, she seemed to look shocked, and then said with a smirk, "I haven't heard that, but it's a very interesting theory."She said it with a smile and said they already shot the episode with the big reveal so she already knows who did it.


Let me know if I shouldn't make it a spoiler.

That's funny. I had kind of had that thought ... as well as maybe...

It could still be more than one person. But I keep coming back to the whole Nip/Tuck development last season, which I won't double spoil in a spoiler, because I'm unsure of everyone's Nip/Tuck viewing habits, but this theory reminds me of how The Carver story ended.

I am surprised that I really haven't come up with any idea as to who the culprit could be. Of course I could name practically any character but I cannot come up with any motive or justifications for their choice. Either that means the storyline has been so well crafted that the hints have been placed carefully or its going to be quite the surprise.

I was shocked by theory too. And then I looked at all the evidence and it made sense. I can't get a motive either. I think if this theory pans out that they really put one over on us.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED what Veronica said at the end... "Faith, you give it to those you love, but it's the one's you don't give it to and still love you, that deserve it the most." or something thereabouts.

I'm still kind of reeling from it, so my critical eye probably won't be up to par.

G-D, that's why you never drink ANYTHING that's been left out, regardless of where you are.

So, was she raped? I don't see where the time existed to have it happen. Because... she hit the light thing, Logan saw it and ran down there, and when he got there, only part of her head was shaved. Which also makes me think that the shaving happens before the rape, rather than after, which is what I always assumed. I still can't figure out what the shaving really means. Except as some way to "mark" the victims...



I also had a new theory, that may have a spoiler in it:

So, I had the thought that the Fitzpatricks may be involved in some way... Or whatever the heck is going on with them is the next major mystery. Because something is DEFINITELY going on, I mean, besides the Fitzpatricks being the Fitzpatricks...

I'm glad the shows been gettting better, because the 1st few episodes were really disappointing.

I'm glad that Logan saved Veronica. If she breaks up with him I'll be so mad. That would totally not be cool.
One thing that did bother me in the episode was that most of Veronica's good banter was with Piz. It bothered me because I don't like him and want to see as little of him as possible, but I was to hear her banter. All in all it's been getting better. Lately I've started to like Lamb more too (and by like I mean still find him obnoxious, but much more amusing than I used to).

cant belive veronica nearly had her head shaved! i absolutly LOVED the way that scene was done with her vision and hearing her thoughts and everytime Logan saves Veronica I love him more. i was kinda expecting the alibi to be worse...or maybe just really different.


i love piz. so many people of Telivison without Pity forums hate on him especially for this weeks ep. but i think he is great just wish we knew more about him and Parker. and yes i am really really sick of the lack of mac.

So who could the rapist be? Not Mercer, Landry, the frat boys...
The fact that he nearly made Veronica his next victim would alert Keith and V now more than ever and probably catch him by Ep. 9.

I'm glad Keith ended the whole thing with Harmony; that affair just caused too many problems.

I also liked how the ep ended

I don't think she was raped; the rapist was in a hurry to shave her that her scalp got wounded.
The shaving thing could be clue...someone who's obssessev with hair or something.

So glad Logan found Veronica(just watched the ep. today(didn't have time before), I wonder what well happen next week, can't want for it, looked intresting, sad though, looks to me like Veronica's and Logan's relationship is gunna end soon

yes logan is definatly fun single. however this season i find i love him more i think he is just so damaged that being with veronica still makes him same old moody and sarcastic logan. i really hope that they dont break up cause i dont think either of them can find anyone as 'epic' as each other!

Logan is really rather boring when he's purely broody, which he is when he's with Veronica.

On a more positive note, the CW has approved an additional seven episodes of the series
