Just wondering, here. Now that everyone has seen the fourth movie, has anyone's opinion on anything chantged? Or do new things about the movies bother you now, too?

The fact that we were all 'oooh ahhh look it's the world cup stadium!!!'.

What, we're in the tent?

It's over?!

Yeah, I got really angry at that. I didn't listen to all the information about Goblet of Fire, because I guess I was the only person on Earth that didn't want to have the movie spoiled, but...it just really upset me.

Mine has, I guess. The only two things that ever bothered me about the movies weren't even present in GOF, so I am pleased.

I completely agree they put in way to much corny parts. like after buckbeek(sp?) was killed hermione was throwing herself on ron and harry( well not really throwing but you get what i mean). Does anyone else agree with me.
I agree there were corny parts in PoA, but I don't think they were as bad as some of the ones in CoS.

"Their is only one place we are gonna get all of this, Diagon Alley"

"HAGGGGGGGGGRIIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!"

"There's no hogwarts without you Hagrid"

Painful stuff.

Re: What are your movie pet peeves?

I've watched POA a zillion times in the past few months because it is on HBO every five minutes. It drives me NUTS when Cornelius Fudge talks about Harry blowing up his Aunt's sister. How on earth did that happen???? And of course, the whole thing with the Marauder's Map just drives me insane. Why couldn't Lupin or Sirius explain who the Marauders are? It would have only taken a minute.

Okay, I need to breathe deeply now...

No doubt. Those are very good examples. Major cheese going on there.

Fudge never says anything about "his Aunt's sister." He says "your uncle's sister" which is correct.

Well he says, "People don't go getting thrown into Azkaban for blowing up their Aunts, Harry...."

What was weird about it was that he had an office in the Leaky Cauldron. Was that in the book as well? Did they ever explain that?

Re: What are your movie pet peeves?

I don't really have any pet peeves with the movie, the only thing that sort of bothered me was that awful crying scene in POA. I felt almost embarrased to watch. There are things that I sort of wish they had done the same as in the book, but it doesn't really bother me that much. I realise things are going to be different so I might as well face up to it. The movies are fun to watch anyways, even if they aren't perfect.

What bothers me is that in gof Hermione acts as if she is in love with the wall she is leaning against.. or at least thats what it seems like. lol.

Are you sure. I've listened to it really closely and it sounds like he says Your Aunt's sister.

Despite what the fangirls say, I don't think Harry really was that muscly in the movie, he just looked like a average teenage boy to me.

Re: What are your movie pet peeves?

Okay, I watched it again today and he definitely says your uncle's sister. My mistake. It does bother me though that Fudge says "tomorrow you will be on your way back to Hogwarts." Lucky then that Fudge picked up his school books for him. When was he supposed to do his shopping? Fudge also tells him not to wander away. Again, when is he supposed to do that? It's night time when he gets there and if he's going to Hogwarts in the morning he doesn't have any time to wander.

Re: What are your movie pet peeves?

I was irritated by the cuckoo clock and the fact that Dudley was so overly dramatic when the buttons from Aunt Marge's clothing hit him in the face. Even though POA is the most mature of the first three HP films, it sure does have its fair share of stupid childish humor moments that just aren't funny.

I agree, I didn't find her Yule Ball moment that dramatic because it just looked like she'd tied her hair up - her hair was nice in PoA and GoF anyway.

I agree to, the transformation was nothing different. If they had kept her hair frizzed it would have been a HUGE difference

I try my best to think of the movies and books separately, but I do wish that they would have put Peeves in!
