Wow...where to start?

-I can't sleep if anyone-or anything-is talking...always worry that I'm the subject of discussion
-can't leave the house unless I'm wearing something black
- have to say goodbye to my cat anytime I go somewhere

I can't think of any more right now. I'm sure more will come to mind though...

When I leave my house in the morning I close the garage door and I have to look over my shoulder at least 2 times to make sure I closed it as I drive away.

I wash my feet. Obsessively. I can't concentrate on anything if my feet are gritty/dusty.... I don't know why, I just can't. It really gets on my friend's nerves.

Oh wow, this is definitely my thread

- I can't sleep unless the TV or my lamp is turned on. My boyfriend has finally learnt to accept it, lol.
- Everything has to be neat or even.
- Volume on TV's or car radio/cd has to be on an even number.
- I always turn the shower on before I get in.
- I can't sleep with my wardrobe doors open, they have to be closed.
- I always have to look at the back of my hair before I leave the house.
- I can't leave the house without saying goodbye to my dogs. If I forget, I go back home to say goodbye.

There is so much more but my mind is blank right now!

I always march around everywhere, like I rpll my toes and always start out on the left foot. If I don't, I have to stop , then start again, starting with my left foot.

I also can't stand people who use bad grammar. Like if someone is saying "I seen this," "I seen that" I have to yell at them and then I get in trouble with the teacher.

I thought of some more already!!

- If someone yawns, I have to yawn aswell.
- If I see someone crack their knuckles, I have to do it too.
- My rings always have to facing up, if one goes lopsided, I correct it straight away!
- I always check behind doors to make sure no monsters are there waiting for me!
- If I come home late and it's dark, I have to run from my car to the front door so nothing can get me
- Whenever I am walking down the street, I have to smile a little because otherwise I look like I hate everything!
- I'm always self concious about my toes, so I always fuss about them and make sure my feet look nice!
- I don't like showering in the morning on weekdays, it has to be night time. Only on weekends can I shower in the morning!
- I am a germ freak, and am always washing my hands!
- I have a fear of throwing up, so sometimes I won't eat a certain food because I think it's going to make me sick.
- I always, ALWAYS check the use by date on something before I eat it. If it doesn't have a use by date, I won't eat it.

I have listed stuff on here before, but I forget what I wrote soo....


-I'm a germ freak like a lot of people, I have a fear of public restrooms and I always watch to see if people wash their hands.

-I must sleep with the radio on, or play a CD...otherwise I don't sleep well.

-I'm a spelling nazi, and (even if I don't want to) I find myself proof reading my siblings homework and correcting their spelling, like I am their teacher.

-I have weird OCD with a few things, but I can still be a slob when it comes to my room.

-I tend to over analyze.

-I crush water bottles while I drink them (or afterwards) when I'm tense or thinking...real bad habit, it's annoying and needs to stop.

-I have to feel the texture of supplies such as paper before I use them, same with pencils and erasers; if they will smudge, make a mess, not completely erase everything, or leave annoying pink marks, I probably wont use them.

There are some crazy, quirky things in this thread.

I always used to laugh at my Grandma because she hummed absoloutely all the time, now I find myself doing the same - especially in awkward situations. I was sitting with one of my friends and there was a sort of awkward lull in conversation after a while I realised that I was humming Jerusalum quite loudly and hadn't even noticed I was doing it. My friends say I do it all the time

I always march around everywhere without realizing it too! I have a habit of unconsciously fingering my music as well. I guess it's just the band geek within us!

Oh, and I usually don't spaz or anything when people don't use proper grammar, but you know what does get to me? My English teacher doesn't use proper grammar when he's talking to us. I swear, nearly every single day he says something that is improper grammar. I want to yell at him; it's like: you're an f-ing English teacher, man! Come on! Seriously.

I can't stand for things to be uneven. Pictures have to be even and level. The bottom edges of blinds have to be even. Things have to be symetrical. I can't stand randomness.

I have "comfort movies" that I put on when I want to sleep. These are usually movies I know by heart and I just play them for background while I'm going to sleep. If I wake up, I have familiar noise in the background and can go right back to sleep. I cannot sleep in a completely dark and quiet room.

I hate words that end in "Y" sounds.... like puppy, kitty, Harry.... they all seem so childish. I can't stand using them.

-Hmm... well... I bite my nails, I think almost everybody does that without thinking it...
-I bite my lip all the time, and I repeat all the time when I'm nervous... Otherwise I have to chew gum.
-Ehm... when I study or do homework and a radio is playing, or a tv, I close the door, and if I still can hear it, I go straight up and close it no matter if someone's watching xP
-I hate seeing things on the floor. If there's a little dust, I have to brush it! Otherwise I feel distracted if I'm doing something in the same room.

Well, I have have pretty major issues, but here are a few of them.

-I chew on things. All things. I can't keep one of those "Live Strong" bracelets on, because I chew it to peices. I dont even notice I'm doing it either, unless it tastes bad, or someone reminds me.

- As you all could figure out, I'm afraid of cows. And horses. And sheep. Basically all animals larger than your average beagle.

-But, normal things like spiders and snakes, I like. I keep cobwebs in my room. I never sweep them.

-I get songs stuck in my head. But I also get more than one song in my head, and they will remix themselves.

-I have to read book series in order. If the library doesn't have the first book, I will track that person down.

-When I cook burgers, I flip them over at specific times. When the time ends in 3, 7, and I take them out on 0. Always.

-I always fall asleep with a book in my arms. It's like a teddy bear.

-I need my lamp on to sleep.

-I can read and listen to the radio at the same time and still completely understand both.

-Sometimes I talk to myself in a British accent. (But I think all Americans do that.)

I'm sure I'll think of more but that's a good start.

Oh my GOODNESS, I thought I was the only person EVER that does that! The very thought of someone lurking behind my shower curtain unnerves me; I just want to scream!

I have this super-obsessive hair-twisting habit. My mother always swats my hand away when she spots me twisting it in the car. I try to stop, but it's so ingrained in my mind it's terribly difficult to.

I always either pace or walk around the house when I'm on the phone. My best friend was on vacation for like three weeks last summer and she called me when she got back, and I was so excited that I walked in really fast circles in my computer room while we talked. There was a bunch of stuff on the floor and I kept the same cycle of stepping over and around certain items.

Number of deodorant swipes and perfume sprays have to be EVEN. I can't do three or five. It just feels...wrong.

I consider myself 'borderline-hyperactive'. I'm really, really fidgety. None of my family enjoys sitting next to me on airplanes because I move around so much, especially if I sleep. Fortunately, this means I almost always get a window seat (with my less-than-enthusiastic sister stuffed in next to me).

When I'm awake but trying to fall asleep, I can't have any part of my body other than my head and face exposed or not covered by blankets. For example, I can't have my arm hanging out, or my feet. I can't even have my ears exposed; I always cover my ear with my hair when I'm sleeping on my side...weird.

I've posted here, but my post is SO dusty. Thus, I have a new and shiny one up for you guys! (And girls)

- I'm extremely messy. I think I'm like a human tornado. I leave destruction everywhere I go.

- I can do crossword puzzles in languages totally foreign to me.

-I love puzzles in general, especially word puzzles. (I also love watching Wheel of Fortune)

-I had myself tested for Asperger's because I read that people with Asperger's are totally focused on one topic. And I portray the traits of Aspergers. Know what I scored? 13, and the cut-off for Aspergers is 36. I'm not even close.

- When I sleep, everything has to be dark. Actually, when I'm awake, everything has to be dark too.

-I love huge animals; elephants, tigers you name it. But I'll run up a tree if I see a grass snake.

- My personality is pretty dark, but my exterior is extremely nerdy.

-Sometimes, when I totally forget the lyrics of the song, and I'm stuck with the tune, I'm just so mad. I'll be sulking around for the whole day until I remember the song name, and lyrics and then, everything's fine and dandy. (Just imagine what happens if I can't remember a word. I won't sleep the whole night till I remember it.)

-I'm a bona fide weirdo.

I must have my bedroom door closed when I'm in it. I obsessively deadhead flowers (especially daylilies), I have NO idea why, and I MUST turn out the light before leaving a room. And when I come across a word I don't know, it drives me bonkers until I can find a dictionary (which I usually can't). Once it took me weeks to find out how much a fortnight was and how far a league is. Another word that had been bothering me for a long time was "mediocre", and what FINALLY drove me to look it up was Snape saying that Harry was mediocre. Thanks, Professor!

I eat cupcake wrappers. I didn't always do it, it started one day after I finished a blueberry muffin and noticed all the crumbs still clinging to it I thought how much good muffin was lost on the wrapper so I stuck it in my mouth and chewed till all the excess came off then rather than spit out the wrapper I just swallowed it and have been doing it since lol.

I have to have my Ipod in the bed with me when I go to sleep at night. I don't even listen to it at night most of the time or anything. It just has to be there. I also have to sleep on the side of the bed that is farthest from the door.
I also have a lot of quirks about food. When I'm eating if something is liquidy it can't touch my dry food (like macaroni can't touch chicken) or I won't eat it. Also, I won't eat it if it's leftover and been warmed up in the microwave. I also always leave one of something I'm eating. Like, if I have 6 chicken tenders, I'll only eat 5.
This one's probably the oddest one. I have to look in my closet before I go to the sleep at night so I know that no one is hiding in there (even though I know that logically there isn't anyone).
Also, I HAVE to go to the bathroom right before I go to sleep or I won't go to sleep.
I also shake chip bags before I open them, because it makes the flavor come up from the bottom (in my mind).
I'm very quirky.

When home alone i can't have it quiet... if i don't have the tv or music on without realizing i will start whistling or singing LOL
