Gray and proud of it. I am able to get a Senior discount when I get my hair cut (even though I am not 62). I don't mind showing my age, because I am proud of how old I am.

Currently: "Flame" - in early October I dyed my hair (from blond, though I'm a natural brunette) to blood red. The blood red is faded, yet the blond is still there. So it's this awesome flame color... Not orange, no. Just red mixed with blond. I actually LIKE IT! It's shoulder-length!

Very well said, I don't know why people, specially woman are suppossed to be ashamed of aging, it is an natural thing, and not everybody can reach old age.

My hair is dark brown, although I usually dye it, I dyed it black, red (which I loved, but was very difficult to mantain), and now it is dyed with blond highlights that need urgent redoing by the way. I also curl it because my natural is really straight.

Mine is dark dark brown, but I like to dye it soft black or (for my husband) more of an auburn on occasion. It used to be down to the middle of my back, but a couple months ago I cut it off and donated the hair to Locks of Love. Right now it's about shoulder length, and still black.

As for comparisons to Severus' hair, mine is like his. It's fine and straight with not a lot of body, so it can look pretty stringy, limp and greasy even when it isn't... just thought I'd throw that out there... and yeah, I wash it every day. Doesn't help a lot.

Red (although it looks blondey-brown in my pic!). It's naturally a really dark auburn, but it makes me look too pale so I dye it a lighter auburn. It's just above my shoulders, and quite wavy, but I like to straighten it.
