My name's pretty uncommon here but not very uncommon in the west I suppose.
Most people spell my name wrong because they don't know it and I get very annoyed.

I love it. "Yoana" is cosidered a beautiful name here, and many people say that to me when I introduce myself. It's the the female version of Ioan, which is the Greek version of John.

I'm an Amy. S'okay, but I don't think it really suits me, especially since I'm so horrible and all I like that it's easy to spell and at the beginning of the alphabet, though. I always got to get changed first after Games in primary school Oh, and it's hard to shorten, which is why my parents chose it. Though I did have a friend who used to call me "A"...

Well my name is Trisha.
Not Patricia, not Pat...and not Elizabeth. Yes, I actually had someone ask me one time if my name was from the name Elizabeth. Which is funny cause my alias is Michelle Elizabeth Marie. Lots of people had asked me if my name was short for Patricia...which is a very common name...but no...it's not. And then they'd ask me if it's Trish...or Trisha. And I'd tell them...I go by both.
But Trisha by itself, as I've noticed...is not that common of a name...as far as I have seen. But I'm not sure if I like it or not. Sometimes I do...and sometimes I don't. Depends on who's saying my name.

I cant say i like my name or hate my name, its just something i have gotten use to. my name i Tiana, though i get different names from people who havent heard of it before such as tania, tiara etc.
I have heard three different meaning for my name one is "most beautiful" another is "fairy queen" and the other is "gracious aunt" not too fond of that one.

My name's Whitney, When I was little I wanted to change it to my middle name, Rose, but now I like it a lot. where I live there is a big building named Whitney Hall, so at least everyone knows how to spell it :P You wouldn't believe how often people misspell my name! It seems simple to me! But I do wish that I had a name that easily lends itself to nicknames. I've only got Whit.
