Do you like your name?

i'm not that fond of my name (holly) cos i've had 26 years of people asking me/my parents if i was born in december, which can get a touch weary.

then again, it's usually worse when i tell them when my birthday is (the same as the weasley twins)

My name is Kimberly. I used to hate being called Kim, but I don't mind any longer. Kimberly sounds a bit like a cheerleader who wears pink a lot and drinks Evian, but Kim isn't too bad. Rarely mispelt and never mispronounced, while not being extremely common, so I can't complain.

Absolutely. My name is unique, just like me! My name is Aviva and since I was born in Israel my name is in hebrew. Aviv means spring and it's a boy's name but if you add a an A at the end it's for girls. I was born in April so it's very appropriate and spring is when things start to grow and blossom and come to life, which I really like. Plus it's symmetrical AND a pallindrome (however you spell that). a-v-i-v-a from beginning and a-v-i-v-a backwards.

Hm, well, I don't really go by my actual name. My real name is Elizabeth, but everyone has called me by my nickname, Bea, since I was 2 or 3. So, no, I don't really like my name, but I love my nickname! When I was younger it seemed like EVERYONE had the name Elizabeth. Bea just seems so much more...unique.

Its ok we can bend the rules a little bit. To be honest I don't really know what I would name my children. If I have any that is. lol.

My name is Faye...I like the name a little since it means Fairy in french which kind of goes with my personality, but I've always prefered the name Faith...which is the full name which Faye was created from.

I like my two middle names as well but then again I'm a person who loves unusual names its great to have some normal names to bring me back to reality.

I love my first middle and last name. Why do y'all ask? Shiver me timbers I'll y'all right tooting now. How's about it folks here we go.....My first name Stephen was my Grandfather's that was his first name, My middle name Ositadima is my Dad's middle name and Ofoche my last name was my Great-Grandfather's first name. Appearantly the merry old Brits landed in Nigeria many of my tribesmen had no surnames so their sons in my case my Grandfather and his three bro's got their Dads first name as their Surnames. As for my first name and middle, well...I am the eldest Ofoche male bearing my last name decented from my Grandpa so I got first dips on names. Long story I know but its got to be told. Yeehaw. No because most people don't know spanish and when they hear my name they think it means the actual floor. My name is Flor by the way and it means flower. Anyway I just roll my eyes when people think my parents actually name me after the floor and they say it very seriously.
