Re: Muse

I don't know if you are allowed to take them, but people do it anyway. I saw people smoking in the venue (Smoking is banned in public places in Scotland), so I don't think anyone would bother over a photo.

The support act (The Noisettes) were TERRIBLE. Ugh, it was just a noise. But thankfully Muse more than made up for it.

Best thing in my LIFE. I will never see another gig as good as this. All of my favourite songs, excellent stage presence by all three members, no annoying pyrotechnics, even the strobe lighting wasn't annoying.

And Knights of Cydonia live. Best thing I have ever saw in my entire life.
I majorly agree with you. The Glasgow gig was so amazing, I'm still buzzing from it!! I was right at the front, on Chris' side, but a little further over, which would have sucked, if Matt hadn't gone on that podium thing when they played Bliss. He was right in front of me and my friends, and I was standing there, singing and bopping along, thinking 'Matt, you are a God, it's official...' I was in complete awe. They're going to have to do alot to beat that. Best gig of my life. And third time this year

Re: Muse

Bah, you guys are so lucky.
I was meant to be seeing them tomorrow, on my birthday. Since no tickets arrived, we have discovered it is a company who's old name has been on watchdog and scam people with tickets.

I am so upset. My birthday has been ruined

The Noisettes were good! The lead singer was fantastic.

Sorry, I thought they were terrible.

Knights of Cydonia was the stand out moment for sure, especially the bridge when "No one's going to take me alive..." come in then it burst into the huge riff. Everyone was jumping, so great.

Virtuousdream, don't worry too much, they'll be back soon. They usually do two tours per album and this is the first, so catch them the second time. I use ticketmaster or ticketweb for my tickets so I would suggest getting them there next time. It sucks that you got scammed out of tickets, I hope your birthday was good though.

It's tomorrow, when I was meant to be seeing Muse!
it's good to know they do two tours, I will definately try ticketmaster the next time. The problem was I bought one through them, but because I got the last one, and needed 2, I got a refund and went with tickettout. Never. Again.

You could go to one the venues and buy tickets of a tout, I've done that a number of times. There's always loads of them around. Remember to take the Pythons advice and haggle though - they will try to rip you of at first, however they have no use for the tickets and do want to get rid of them, so you could end up getting them pretty cheap.

I'm so damn jealous of all you guys who've seen them!

I wanted so badly to see them in Manchester this weekend, to celebrate with my boyfriend our anniversary. But naturally all sold out. When d'you reckon their next tour will be, anybody?

Virtuousdream, I know it sucks to be Museless, but have a great birthday anyway!

Well if you live in Manchester chances are you'll see them in the first half of next year Id say. They generally do the UK twice as much as the rest of the world so dont give up hope yet.

83 days until Muse (for me)

Re: Muse

I love Muse big time. OOS is definitely my favourite

I know that Matt Bellamy (Singer/guitarist) believes in crazy conspiracy theories since alot of his lyrics refer to them.

I did some research on them myself and he believes in MK Ultra (a CIA Project that produces agents who's under constant mind control to do assignments), HAARP (A government project that is believed to have the power to control the weather), 911 being an inside job and some other wacky stuff.

I really want to see them live

Have a great time in 83 days! Where are you seeing them by the way?

I gotta say I think the best album is either Absolution or Black Holes - <3 Knights of Cydonia.

Virtuousdream, happy birthday!

I think you'd be surprised how many Australians like Muse. Maybe not people around your or my age, but they are pretty ewll known here since Absolution.

You're very lucky to be living in the UK! Plenty of Muse for you

Im seeing them at the Adelaide Big Day Out, February 2nd (of course, if you dont want to wait until they tour the UK again, you could come with me )

I think their best album by a long shot is Origin of Symmetry, but all are great. Hullabaloo Soundtrack is good too.

Last night they played the whole of BH&R through, in order, then did New Born, Plug In Baby, Time Is Running Out, Hysteria, Sunburn and Stockholm Syndrome as the encore. Mental!
