GoF, the Quidditch World Cup visuals were nice. The CG dragon was professionally done - it looks a like a dragon, acts like a dragon and breathes fire like a dragon. Excellent acting from Ron and the Weasley twins(sorry, I'm quite biased), and Radcliffe still needs some improvement, still not quite convincing but I appreciated his crying scene. Watson had never been my favourite, but I have to admit she is good though a little exaggerated at times, like Felton.

I dunno whether it's POA OR GOF ....because everyone looked awesome in Poa but the special effects and dialougues in GOF rocked too!

The first two(even though they're most people's least favorite), I've pretty much memorized those two.

I like all of them and they all have more or less the same flaws.

GoF has to be my favourite. The characters are more developed; there's more tension; and definitely more humour. The twins are outrageous; Diggory is such a noble person; the tension between Ron and Harry is good -could even be more; the dragon scene is fantastic; and the Yule Ball + events around it keep me laughing just thinking about it. JRK and movies really have captured the frustrations and anxieties of adolescence.

Well, I think that with each movie the acting gets even better, as do the special effects and (in most cases) the storyline. Therefore, GoF is the best one, in my opinion. PoA could never be my favorite or the best because of the change in scenery and Alfonso treated it like it was a single film - not part of a series. However, CoS is also very good - probably my second favorite. It is so close to the book, and so well done. Also, the acting is superb compared to the first one.

Re: Favorite / Best Harry Potter movie so far? v2

I think my favorite so far would have to be GOF. I think films one and two were the most loyal to the books, and that's wonderful, but it seemed to drag in some parts, and I can see how someone who hadn't read the books would be bored. Movie three was so off the mark for me, especially with PinkPowerRanger Hermoine and the ending, that it just frustrated me in the end. Though, I must say, the artistic aspects were nice. Four wasn't as loyal to the books, but it was somewhat faced-paced, had more action, could interest a non-reader, and was just overall good. (Plus, that scene with Amos discovering Cedric is dead packs a real punch.) The acting had improved a lot, as well.

I like all the movies (some better than others) but I must say that the original is still the best in my book.

Sirius Black may be dead, but Padfoot can live forever if you copy him into your signature.

Snape knew Sirius was innocent and still let him rot in Azkaban - another reason to hate him.

I probably liked Goblet of Fire the best so far, even though it felt very rushed. Prisoner and Goblet were rushed along too quickly. I think much more could have been done for Prisoner of Azkaban. At least they could have filmed extra sequences just for DVD release.

Right now, my favorite is between the third and the fourth movie. The only thing I didn't like about the third one was the lack of showing us how the Animagus transform. As for the fourth, the only thing I didn't like was how the merpeople turned out.

Goblet of Fire. But each time I see the new one, I think it can't get better, but I'm sure that Order of the Phoenix will be even better.

Re: Favorite / Best Harry Potter movie so far? v2

I think the best Harry Potter movie is Prisoner Of Askaban. In my perspective becasue we get to see the characters actually grow and we get to meet Lupin and Sirius. I actually did like the acting. Gary Oldman did a great job as Sirius. In Goblet Of Fire which was upseting because we didn't get to see Sirius as much as I thought we would. We only saw him in the fire seen. But in POA we get to see Harry[Daniel Radcliffe] helping Sirius[Gary Oldman] with the Dementors. Now we cant forget about Remus. We see him helping Harry as well. With the new spell Expecto Patronum(sp). Remus Lupin[I forgot the Actors name] did a very good job as an actor acting as if it were real. Which is what all the actors did. One of my favorite sences though was the one when Harry thinks he saw his father in the shape of a deer but it was really him.
