Re: Quite Possibly Impossible Titles for Book Seven
That's an interesting editorial. Some of them are a bit too far-fetched for comfort, others though hit a bit close. I would go crazy if what happned in Harry Potter Jumped the Shark really does happen.

I just hope Harry Potter "jumps the shark" doesnt come true!!!
It would just ruin the series. |

Thanks. I needed that. Even if it did confuse my fiance and cause a serious distraction from my cribbage game.

Hope Jo goes 'trawling around the internet' again and comes across this. I imagine she would get a very good giggle out of it... I certainly did. Well done!

I love these! If the Jumping the Shark one comes true, though...it would mean sad times in my life

Re: Quite Possibly Impossible Titles for Book Seven
Great and hilarious editorial. I liked Harry Potter Four Weddings and a Funeral the most. There should be a couple of editorials of this type every few months. They're great parodies.

Re: Quite Possibly Impossible Titles for Book Seven
Good job on a really funny editorial. You've just brought me out of depression over my exams which could only be a good thing. With all the speculation about the mystery letter from JK Rowling with the book seven title this comes at the right moment.
I really hope the "Jumping the shark one doesn't happen". If it does I hope that theres happy ending like: then Harry wanted to tell the world this fantastic story, one day when he was out he met a struggling young author named Jo Rowling they got talking and he said "I had this amazing dream". She said "that sounds like an amazing story I'll write about it". Then the books came out and the author became rich and Harry got royalities (and a lawyer so the Dursleys wouldn't take his money.) Then Jo complained to child services that Harry was being abused and he moved out and was adopted by Jo. Yes its insane and I need help, but at least its not as depressing.

Re: Quite Possibly Impossible Titles for Book Seven
My favourite has to be:"Harry Potter and the Murder on the Hogwarts Express
This is a classic "whodunit" mystery with a bizarre twist, as individuals from both sides of the fight are found murdered on the Hogwarts Express. Interestingly, the entire novel is set on a train. Conveniently, all key characters are aboard." Great editorial-very amusing!

Re: Quite Possibly Impossible Titles for Book Seven
Brilliant! Lots of fun, very clever, and a bit of relief from all the tension of waiting for Book 7. Thanks for taking the time to post it!

Re: Quite Possibly Impossible Titles for Book Seven
Brilliant. How about:
Harry Potter and the Prisoner Chamber of the Half- Blood Secret Order who protect the Philosopher's Goblet? Harry Potter and the Secret Horcrux is the Relic of Ravenclaw Harry dies in the End and Voldemort lives Ha Ha Ha Harry Potter and the amazingly coincidental similar end to the Lord of the Rings Harry Potter and the Kettle's Toenail of Icklebogg hidden below the Pillar of Storgae. Harry Potter goes to Azkaban Harry Potter and the Tower of Relics Harry Potter and the Hidden Casket Harry Potter and the Final Fight Harry Potter and the Never Ending Story-well now it is Harry Potter and the Last Battle of the Founders Harry Potter and the Bone's Amulet Harry Potter and the Ollivander Order Harry Potter and the Hollow Heart Harry Potter and the Last Flight for Freedom Harry Potter and the Two Dollar Death Eater Harry Potter and the Measley Wedding Harry Potter and the Veil of Truth Harry Potter and the Last Door of the Department of Myteries Harry Potter and the Return from the Veil Last edited by squibpott; May 20th, 2006 at 4:00 pm. |
