And Bones is getting the same cruddy treatment. I dunno, I love the show so I'll stick with it but I'll complain about it. So question for everyone:
1) Who's your favorite character and why?
2) Do you think the Tritter arc was annoyign, useful, or a combination of the two?
3) Who do you think will end up with whom?
4) Do you think Cuddy will have a baby?

1) I love Wilson. He's the Remus of the series. The common sence, carring, willing to do anything for his friend. And I love Robert Sean Leonard so they come hand in hand.
2)We already new Hosue was addict, we didn't need an annoying cop rubbing it in our faces for 8-ish episodes.
3) I hope for Cameron/almost anyone except Forman, but the writting is so inconsistant i dunno. As long as it's not House/Cuddy I'm happy. Too much leg background to cover.
4) I dunno, just think it's a cool question. Seh'd be a good mom, and she smart enough to realise she can't have a boyfriend/hubby with her work schedule. Look at Wilson! So she's being intelligent.

I love house whenever I get to see it which unfortunatly isn't often. Hugh Laurie's accent is brilliant it's quite easy to believe that the casting directior didn't believe he was english. my parents watch it more than I do and called me down to see the episode where they do an ECG (EKG for you americans) the original way. It was fascinating how eindhoven and the rest of those pioneers did it. Makes me realise how easy my job is now

1. I like House. Not just because the show is about him, but I think he has some real character depth. Yes, he's annoying, rude, and brilliant, but he's got his vulnerable side that isn't visible except for very small windows in time.

2. I think the Tritter arc was written to give House some continuity. In the end, I think it was useless, because it didn't really teach House humility. He still uses drugs, and he's still somewhat rude to patients.

3. I don't know if any of the doctors can have any long term relationships with each other or other people just because of the nature of their work. However, quick hookups definitely include Chase and Cameron. Maybe Cuddy could end up with Wilson. But I don't think real relationships would be part of House, unless more characters are added. (two women, four men....very limited options)

4. Cuddy really really wants a baby, but I think that if she does, then she'd have to scale down on work hours, or even quit entirely.

I agree with your number 4. Without a pouce it'll be nearly impossible to raise a kid unless she has a mom/sister who can help out with the kid.

I want to see how everythign plays out after faking cancer. Are the ducklings/cottages going to be short with him?? Are they going to forgive him?? ARe Wilson and Cuddy going to be ok around him?? Did he really go for pizza with the Cottages?? So many unanswered questions!

Sile, are you a nurse/doctor? So cool. I'm trying to get into a HS wiht as many bio courses as possible.

1) House is definitely my favorite. I've got a thing for intelligence and sarcasm...and for people who have a frank and realistic view of life. Obviously that puts him at the top of my list.
2) It was a combination, but only barely. It was highly annoying (and completely unrealistic), and served very little purpose. But! House did apologize to Wilson, completely willingly and showing humility. Even if it was fake (I think it was real), the fact that he did it at all is a step forward for him.
3) House and Cameron will likely end up together. Both because I want them to, and because the writer/producer (David Shore) wants them to Other than that, I don't know...
4) No. I don't think she's ready for one, however much she might want one. She's pretty much married to her job, and that doesn't leave much time for a child.

My favorite character--it's a tie between House and Cameron. I love both of them.

The Tritter arc--is that the guy who took over the hospital with his millions--it was an annoying arc but it actually served a purpose in that season.

As for interpersonal relationships--I haven't the faintest clue who will end up with whom, at this point I'm hoping they all stay single. I can't stand the characters of Cameron and Chase as a couple (even if their relationship is purely physical).

1. I'll go with House by default, since I'm addicted to all the Housisms, its bcuz of him that whenever i need to take any pills i dry-swallow them (yep i'm a lil to addicted to this show, someone call the crazy house fo me). What i like about Wilson most, isnt his caring since it causes some of his own problems, but the fact he knows how to get House's attention like: noticing his addiction to puzzles can be as much a problem as Vicoden(ie. he gets addicted to risk, adrenalin rush); or how House picks being miserable over happiness. There was always that time Wilson said, 'you need people to like you because you need people.' Like it or not House needs other people to help bend the rules for him, he can't just say; "Screw the Rules, I Have ... er the Answer" (no prizes on where i stole that 'joke' from).

2. Words can't express how much i hated Tritter, he wasnt just wrong, he was an idiot, I felt that the guy must be miserable about countless failed attempts at a job promotion or something but meh, just a theory. I may not have hated the concept as much if Tritter had not been such a pathetic loser. House is rude to everyone but Tritter wanted to push anyone just to satisfy his score with House. I felt like yellin at the screen 'Hey Ahab, you're spearing everything EXCEPT the whale'. However to say im ranting a lot is an understatement, so i'll try and sum it up with the fact that House has had better development as a person in some single episodes like being shot at the end of season 2(to disgress again, 'Yo Tritter you're already abusing your position as cop, just shoot the doctor, that'll get the message across), or any given one on one conversation with other characters or even patients.

3. Hey Rhea7, that part i bolded, does that include Cameron being with even Wilson or better yet - CUDDY, forgive me for being a teenage guy, maybe Cameron and Cuddy can have... an embroidery contest (yes i'm sure im confusing even more people with my obscure referencing and I appear even more insane). I'll just say I don't mind House/Cuddy, don't like Cameron/Chase since imo its just physical (even though the actors are engaged or something and I've gone off topic yet again), who knows whether Foreman is still dating the nurse (although House said Foreman needs to date a female version of himself). I personally think Foreman should go on a date with the MRI .

4. I hope the Cuddy baby thing actually has a good tie up, either she becomes pregnant, in which case , I don't care how, or she is unable to have kids imho at this point, i physically reason would be the only one that wouldn't cause my eye to twitch. Just hoping it gets resolved.

Although I know near nothing about medicine, I watch enough slash pics to not flinch at medical procedures and still like how House figures out cases since his mind is always on some puzzle. Anyone got any favorite Housisms? I have to many to think of but a fav conversation of his I remember was in "Son of a Coma Guy" when he explained how he was in Japan and was inspired by the janitor who the other doctors turned to for advice. I thought it was revealing of House's character on how other people tolerate him SOLELY on the fact that he is brilliant and that is what House wants most.

jordmundt6: the arc you're refering to is the Vogler arc not Tritter but imo I liked him far more than Tritter. Vogler's action imo were motivated by power and his want to run a hospital as a strict business (imo not the best way to run a hospital, let alone a teaching hospital).

btw: its prolly to late to inform people that my post is not recommended to be read by anyone, it is proven to lower ones IQ, resulting from it being created by a lack of sleep .

One of my favorite House quotes: "You have a parasite" to the idiotic pregnant woman who didn't realize she was pregnant, despite the sickness, the inability to lose weight when she was running 10 miles a day, and she still doesn't understand what he's talking about till he shows her the ultrasound.

I thought he was just plain annoying, but I loved how House won over him in the end.

I don't see anything happening other than cameron/chase. I REALLY don't want House to get with Cuddy. Its just not right.

Frank, no worries. All my best friend are guys so I'm use to it! LOL And I would LOVE Wilson/Cameron. There both so carring (well. most of the time). I can't wait for next weeks episode. And IQ lowering is good at times. I personally wouldn't mind House with his best friend..... =]

And nearly anythign that comes out of House's mouth is comical gold.

3 Stories was a great episode. I loved how we actually got to know how House and Stacy's relationship was, before the leg, and how it changed afterwords. That's one of the best House-isms, but there are so many, it hard to keep track of tham all, and the ones on the Fox website aren't even the funniest ones. Can't wait untill tomorrow!

That is my favorite episode too. I am a bit newer to house. I rented season 1 so I could see it all and I am currently watching season 2 dvd's. I caught a marathon right before the start of season 3 so I am hooked. I just wanted to get caught up on all the back story. Also hate to give you bad news but there isn't a new episode until the first week of April, which I believe will be the 3rd.

Yep. New ep on March 27, then 7 more episodes once a week. Then, we'll have a week-long break, and then the season finale.

That's why the original commercial after our last House episode said "Nine new episodes in a row!" and then changed to eight. They're putting in an extra week between the second-to-last and finale episodes.
