I wonder if she has any other updates planned/sorted seeing as she has found the time to respond to the "750 page" rumour in the rubbish bin, maybe she has instructed Lightmaker (I think that's who manages the website) to do further updates in due course.

For weeks we have been whining that we would be happy with any update, and now we got it! Thanks Jo!!! So we know that she isn't close to finishing, that eliminates the 7/7/07 release. As long as she is happy with the book, I am more than happy to wait!

Naw, it doesn't! She said the same things about HBP in 2004 and we had the book the following summer!

I can see Jo giving us all of the details (release and title) around Christmas time, especially if she wants a July release... She will be working like mad to try and get the book ready for her ideal release date.

I had a beleif that she would be awarding us with some surprise update on the 9/11 to cheer us all up but I think she thinks otherwise.

Does someone know where I can find earlier versions from her diary? Is there an archive where I can read this? I think not so long before she anounced that HBP was finished she said the same about the six book. But for proof I need the archive.
And we have the middle of September, from today to December (in 2004 she anounced on the 20th December) there is plenty much time for finishing the book!

I agree with Nicole. Jo did say pretty much the same thing in 2004 about HBP - and then announced it was completed shortly after that. I think 7/7/07 is still the most likely release date.

Thanks Nicole Unfortunately she starts writing the diary a year after the announcment of HBP.

i can't remember where it's, from but the book 7 release date thread people are coming up with very similar quotes, i'm sorry but i don't know how to insert thread links.
